Can I re-use a sensor, if it has been outdoors for 1 year? How do i know, if the sensor is too old for re-using it?

Metal-oxide sensors are known to have a lifetime between 1 year and 1 year and a half. Electro-chimical are around 6-9 months.

However, There is no much knowledge on the lifetime of a sensor. Few places report the lifetime. The manufacturer datasheet says nothing.

A good way is to re-calibrate every N months, e.g. N=2 or 3 and see how they behave.
